Q: I accidentally deleted some photos from hard disk. It was actually not myself but by time machine the back up software that comes with windows. Now i cant find some of the pictures that I had. I tried using some of the demo photo recovery tools available online but could not recover the photos that I needed. It recovered the pictures dated before the ones which i need. Can someone suggest a photo recovery tool to recover deleted photos from hard disk?
A: A deleting of a file on hard disk does not actually destroy that files existence it just removes it from view and your clicking delete tags this file/folder that it is no longer needed and can be overwritten when the space is needed. If these photos are vital then I suggest you take your PC to an accredited computer repair firm.
You could try Wondershare Photo Recovery, but it isn't the easiest. Good Luck, I hope this helps you!
Hard drives are complex. They have a circuit board and a number of moving parts. In terms of hard drive data recovery, the first thing that you must evaluate is whether it is a hardware problem that is stopping you from accessing your data. Common hardware problems include a faulty circuit board or problems with the actuator arm.
A faulty circuit board is characterize by a drive that does not 'spin up', meaning that platters are not turning underneath the copper wire. A faulty actuator arm or more serious mechanical error is characterize by an abnormal clicking noise or a grinding noise. The best advise in determining whether you have a hardware problem is to listen to the sound of your hard drive. If you cannot hear the platters spinning (i.e. it is quiet when it is turned on) or you hear more serious noises then you should stop using the drive immediately and you will need to send your drive to a hardware data recovery service.
Wondershare Photo Recovery can be not cheap because technicians may need to disassemble your hard drive to fix the problem. Hard drive data recovery is usually done in a 'clean room' as hard drives are sealed to avoid errors caused by dust or other particles. Also hard drives are finely tuned machinery and it takes specialist equipment to read the platters from a physically damaged drive.

Hard Disks and other Memory cards do not immediately re-use space from deleted files and leave it there for a while after the file has been deleted; therefore you can recover deleted photos from Hard Disk. A Photo that has been deleted a while ago still has a good chance of being recovered, but the chances of an absolute undelete decrease the longer you leave it, because it is only a matter of time before that space is re-used and overwritten. So the Key to recovering your deleted photos is to act immediately and you will be almost guaranteed to have your files back.
