Help with my Sigma camera?
Q: Ok, at school the other day, my friend asked to see my Sigma camera. She accidentally deleted all my photos from Sigma camera. She said she pressed format, saw the warning, but still pressed the select button on accident. I had so many important pictures on there. Memories I can't get back. My computer is MacBook. Please, please, PLEASE help me recover deleted photos from Sigma camera on Mac........
A: If the photos had only been deleted, then they could be recovered if nothing else had been written over them. However, a format is pretty much a sure bet that everything is gone and may not be recovered. I also have a real problem understanding how your friend even got to the format screen, it takes some deliberate effort to get to it, format does not just pop up by itself. Then on top of that, she sees the warning, and then STILL ACCIDENTLY keeps going to execute the format??? Format is intentionally somewhat difficult to access and execute just for the simple reason to protect the photos on the card. I frankly cannot fathom how your "friend" had all these "accidents". I think you need to sit down and have a long talk with her and find how EXACTLY she "accidently" did all this. I know one thing, I would never let her so much as TOUCH any equipment of mine in the future.
